My client is currently in search of a skilled Costs Draftsperson to join their Liverpool-based team. This exciting full-time, permanent role comes with a competitive salary. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work, dedicated to providing excellent service, and committed to achieving the best results for clients.

The selected individual will be responsible for drafting bills of costs using CostsMaster drafting software. They will provide specialized costs support to colleagues within the department and the legal business. Collaboration with team members and the Department Manager is essential to meet individual and departmental scheduling targets. Managing an allocated drafting caseload, ensuring the timely production of accurate and high-quality bills of costs, particularly in Housing Disrepair claims, is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, maintaining awareness of claim lifecycles and consistently ensuring service delivery is upheld is crucial.

A degree level/Qualified Costs Lawyer is desirable. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Bill Drafting role, proficiency in using CostsMaster drafting software, and excellent communication, organization, and research skills. A good understanding of the CPR, relevant legislation, case law, and costs industry regulations is necessary. Experience with the Proclaim case management system is also desirable, along with diligence and high attention to detail.
