Description

• Performing cost analyses and preparing budget reports
• Developing and maintaining the cost accounting system, documents, and records
• Analysing and recommending costs and cost savings
• Preparing and presenting cost reports for financial meetings
• Coordinating with internal departments regarding finance-related matters
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Performing audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Profile

A successful Costing Analyst should have:

• Proficiency in Excel and financial software programs
• Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
