Your role will involve collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to develop and evaluate options, as well as constructing cost-driven arguments that are in line with the overall business strategy. Working as part of the Business Intelligence Team, you will be instrumental in recognising areas for improvement throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and assess options and build cost-driven arguments that align with business strategy, consistently refining and enhancing models and methodologies based on feedback, new data, and changing business needs. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the business..

. Furthermore, you will be tasked with preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior stakeholders to aid decision-making processes at all organisational levels.

Ready to join the team?

To be successful in this role, you should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record in cost modelling and analysis within a financial or commercial setting. Your strong analytical skills will be put to use as you process and interpret large, complex datasets, providing valuable insights that can be acted upon.

Additionally, a solid understanding of data modelling, statistical analysis, and normalisation concepts is essential. You will be expected to develop robust cost models based on a comprehensive understanding of business problems, costs, and risks. Familiarity with advanced off-the-shelf reporting tools like Power BI are desirable, as will advanced Excel skills and proficiency in modelling tools and supporting software.

As you will often work independently with minimal supervision, your ability to work autonomously and adapt to dynamic situations is crucial. Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines are also important traits for this role.

Finally, your inquisitive mindset and determination to delve into the next level of detail, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills, will contribute to your success in this position.
