Are you an experienced Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing? Do you have a knack for numbers and a passion for the drinks industry? If so, I have a fantastic opportunity for you in North Lanarkshire. This role is paying up to £48,000 + company bonus, operating on a hybrid work model with flexi hours and a 12:30 finish every Friday!!

The Company
A continuously growing global company in the heart of North Lanarkshire, dedicated to excellence in the drinks industry. Looking to add an experienced Cost Accountant to contribute to their continued success.
  
Key Requirements
  • Experience: Cost Accountant experience from manufacturing sector or FMCG. Previous experience in the drinks industry is a big plus.
  • System Knowledge: Proficiency in systems such as SAP is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Conduct cost analysis and variance reporting
  • Evaluate inventory valuations for existing and new products
  • Manage overhead calculations and variances
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between SAP and our internal systems
  • Oversee and review inventory counts
  • Implement strategies for aging or obsolete inventory
  • Support in annual financial reporting to HMRC
  • Collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget
