Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional tax services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns in a timely manner while adhering to all relevant tax regulations.
  • Assisting clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their tax position and minimize liabilities.
  • Conducting in-depth research on complex tax issues and providing insightful advice to clients and colleagues.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior tax staff, offering guidance and expertise to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor in all tax-related matters.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the accountancy practice to ensure seamless service delivery and a comprehensive approach to client needs.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest tax legislation changes and industry trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with a strong focus on corporate tax.
  • Proven experience within an accountancy practice or tax consultancy, with a track record of managing corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of current corporate tax legislation and its application.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dedication to providing outstanding client service and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
