TPF Recruitment is working with a fantastic, well-known firm of chartered accountants in Sussex who have a fantastic reputation across the South Coast. Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants, that provides a wide array of accounting services to a completely mixed client portfolio.

This includes sole traders, LLPs, and Ltd companies through to significantly sized national and international groups.


As a business, they have had a real focus on strengthening their corporate tax presence over the last 12- 18 months and they're now looking for an Associate Director or Partner to join their highly successful team. A large proportion of this position will be focused on holistic corporate tax services to owner-managed businesses but there is also an opportunity to lead or even specialise solely in technical areas such as R&D or International tax; all catered around the applicant's experience and aspirations.

  • You will be one of the main points of contact for corporate tax work across the firm.
  • You will work alongside other partners to support existing clients with the tax needs of the business. 
  • You will be responsible for identifying and advising clients and staff on tax planning opportunities and undertaking specialist technical work as required.
  • You will work alongside other Managers and Directors to help develop new businesses within the team and build on existing relationships.
  • You will be responsible for the work and career development of a small team of Seniors and Trainee Accountants.
  • You will be involved in local networking events in the community, seminars and the cross selling of services.
  • This will be an autonomous position where you will sit alongside other partners to ensure the business is operating efficiently and planning future growth prospects. 
  • You will start in a salaried position with the prospect of equity achievable within a reasonable and mutually agreed time frame, dependent on experience.

A large proportion of this position can be moulded around the applicant's background and experience. Our client offers a fantastic work-life balance and is also open to part-time applicants too.


Remote working will be considered 2-3 days a week and you can be based anywhere in Sussex.


Requirements

The successful candidate will be

  • ACCA/ ACA or CTA qualified and responsible for delivering corporate tax advice and solutions to a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses and/ or listed, domestic and international clients.
  • Experience gained in a Top 10, top 100, or a large independent firm of chartered accountants.
  • A successful Senior Manager looking to take their step into a Director/Partner position. 
  • Looking to help grow the business and have a hands-on approach to winning business. 



Benefits

£60,000 + dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

Flexible working location in either 1 of the firms 6 offices located over the Sussex region.
