Corporate & Securities Associate
This is a great opportunity to join a leading global law firm who are uniquely positioned to advise leading companies on their most complex legal needs.
They are seeking a Corporate & Securities Associate to join their growing practice based in London.
The Corporate team:
- Corporate and securities law is at the core of the practice in every one of its offices worldwide.
- With a globally integrated team of more than 300 lawyers across 4 continents, they have extensive experience advising on a variety of complex, cross-border and high-profile, strategic transactions.
The firm represent a broad spectrum of public and private companies, banks, private equity and leveraged buy-out firms, special committees and management groups around the world. This is including many Fortune 100, FTSE 100, CAC 40, HKE and DAX-listed companies.
As an Associate in the group you will work on a variety of complex, cross-border and high profile transactions.
Experience, skills and personal attributes:
- A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2-5 years post qualification experience.Experience in corporate M&A is required;
- Experience in ECM and public M&A will be an advantage;
- Ability to work effectively within an established, close-knit team;
- Demonstrate ability to confidently interact with clients and develop business pro-actively;
- A commercial and pragmatic outlook;
- Have attained degree certificate(s) from a reputed institution, achieving a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent;
- Candidates that have gained increased post qualification experience will also be expected to demonstrate ability to manage their caseload with little day to day supervision as well as the supervision/management of junior lawyers.
