QC Legal are looking to fill a Corporate Banking Managing Associate role in Manchester. If you have at least 6 years’ qualified experience, and are in the market for a challenging, exciting and varied role, and to be part of a premier team, with a difference, this is the role for you! The Role

  • Become part of a finance practice that is diverse and offers a variety of work from leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate debt and asset-based lending. You will be working with colleagues who are ranked the best in the industry in the legal directories.
  • You will be joining our client’s Corporate Banking team where you will work for banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a broad range of financing transactions.
  • As a Managing Associate you will be working closely with senior members of the team and will be responsible for training junior members of the team and delegating work. You will be a key conduit.
  • The firm offers a fantastic variety of work.  It’s not just big ticket, complex transactions though – they also do a whole range of smaller matters, providing a great arena for mid-level associates to gain experience in a supportive environment.  There is an opportunity to specialise, or gain experience in, many different areas.

You

  • Will have strong transactional finance experience across a range of banking and finance law; knowledge of leveraged finance and corporate banking would be beneficial.
  • Will have demonstrated excellent leadership and teamwork skills which will allow you to work with senior members of the team whilst training junior team members.
  • Will have achieved your experience at a leading firm.
  • Will have good academic credentials, achieving a minimum 2:1 at Undergraduate level.
  • Will be able to demonstrate great project and people management skills.
  • Will be great with clients and existing team members.
  • Will be enthusiastic about business development with acute commercial awareness.
