  • Job Title/Location: Corporate Actions Process Lead, Surrey & WFH
  • Salary: £negotiable, average bonus 6% (£2,300) + pension contribution to 13% c.(£5,000)
  • WFH: 2 days office + 3 days WFH
  • Requirements: Looking for at least 1-2 years corporate actions / dividends experience, some knowledge of Equities/Fixed Income/ETF/Investment Trusts
  • Role snapshot: Processing corporate action events, providing support/guidance to the junior and some senior team members, monitoring corporate action notifications, resolving queries and participate in dept projects

The Company/Team: This is a company known in the industry for developing people. They have been growing established teams whilst also developing new teams/functions and income streams. This team is responsible for identifying, tracking, processing and reporting all corporate action events and dividends.

The Role: This Corporate Actions Process Lead role is set within a team that will process all work items applicable to the company’s asset universe. You will be part of a team processing events, including validating entries in the Books & Records system, providing support, guidance and direction to both junior and senior team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of placings and IPO’s across the business
  • Testing Corporate Action scenarios on the Investment Platform.
  • Drafting of departmental procedures and ongoing ownership of those procedures.
  • Undertake daily operational tasks in accordance with defined procedures
  • Initiation and monitoring of notifications to Clients/Advisers & subsequent Instructions to the Market Broker/Custodian
  • Resolve Custody reconciliation breaks resulting from corporate actions or dividend activity

Experience/Skills Required: For the Corporate Actions Process Lead role, our client is looking for at least 1-2 years previous corporate actions or dividends experience. You should be a self-starter, possess a 'can do’ attitude with good attention to detail, strong communication skills and a good team-working attitude.

Additional Information: The salary for this Corporate Actions Process Lead role is negotiable, with bonus being 6% on average (c.£2,300) and company pension contribution up to 13% (£5,000).
