Sat on the trading desk, the new hire will take ownership for all project management / business analyst / process improvement responsibilities related to corporate actions. The value-add work attributed to the role can be wide ranging, as whilst a key focus is on process enhancements/improvements/automation for the corporate actions process (the hire will develop very strong programming skills in the role), the firm are launching new investment strategies / building out new investment desks globally, so any project work connected to the development of complex corporate actions processes/procedures for these desks will be attributed to the new hire. Separately, over time the hire will be trained to take on SME responsibilities for corporate actions (ownership of specific desks/strategies).

As this is a desk / front office facing role, the hire will work with industry leading investment professionals from day one + the most senior members of the firm’s management team. Internal progression opportunities within corporate actions, the wider operations/MO function, business management and front office are technically unlimited if the hire makes a strong impression over the next 2-3yrs.

Candidate should have 2-5yrs experience in an operations/trade support/MO role, in a hedge fund / IB. This is a highly technical role where existing programming skills + a track record successfully running projects is essential. A strong academic profile is preferred.

The role is offering a lucrative comp package - the hire can expect to earn up to a £150k year one total comp package, a proportion of which can be guaranteed via sign on / guaranteed minimum bonuses. A first class benefits package is also offered to all employees.
