You:

As a Conveyancing Secretary you will play a vital role in assisting clients with one of the most significant transactions of their lives – buying, selling, and refinancing properties.

You will join a team of dedicated professionals, supporting a solicitor in managing residential property matters from start to finish.

Your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service will ensure the smooth running of transactions and uphold the firm's esteemed reputation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Support a solicitor in managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions.

- Provide exceptional service to clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.

- Keep all parties updated throughout the conveyancing process via phone and email.

- Efficiently utilise the Land Registry to perform necessary searches.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as diary management, file opening and closing, and database maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in audio typing and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing secretary role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience using the Land Registry and other relevant legal software/tools is advantageous.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary (£24,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE).
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with an hour for lunch.
