Our leading Solicitor and legal client based in Cambridge are recruiting as part of expansion. We have an immediate for a Conveyancing Assistant.

Covering clients over Suffolk Essex and Cambridge, base Cambridge -

The role

As part of growth our clients are seeking a family paralegal to join a busy team.

  • Excellent organisational skills and diary management to coordinate and schedule client meetings, court ordered documents and court hearings.
  • Initiative and a strong knowledge of family law practices, procedures and terminology
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to assist solicitors with a diverse caseload.
  • Maintenance of accurate and organised case files including invoicing.
  • A good level of literacy and keyboard skills
  • Friendly telephone manner
  • Efficient IT and administration skills to facilitate file set up, compliance checks, collating e-bundles and lodging applications with the Family Court
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate empathy towards clients’ situations.
  • Experience in family law
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • A genuine drive and passion for family law
  • An approachable and sociable demeanour
  • Great communication skills
