Conveyancing Assistant - Flexible working 1 office day per week. If you are confident with the required duties of a conveyancing support role and are looking for flexibility this is an ongoing assignment offering long term opportunity. Supporting one fee earner the roe will include:

  • Opening new client files on the system
  • Post exchange work including setting up completion documentation and liaising with mortgage lenders to ensure timely release of funds and redemption figures
  • Post completion work including post completion letters to solicitors and clients, stampings and registrations with HMRC, submission of land registry applications and file closures including account balances Liaising with head office, clients, other solicitors, lenders and estate agents throughout the conveyancing process


Skills and Experience for applications:

This would suit an experienced conveyancing secretary, assistant or paralegal who is familiar with the duties described. Must be able to calmly, confidently and professionally communicate with all involved parties during transactions to ensure client satisfaction and comfortable to work independently/with minimum guidance and to provide some degree of holiday cover when necessary
