Conveyancer

Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancer to join a law firm in their Bishop Auckland, County Durham office. This is a permanent job, offered either full-time or part-time. The firm offers a generous salary (depending on experience), along with a holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, hybrid working and secretarial support.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancer will be responsible for successfully running a large caseload of a wide variety of residential conveyancing matters unsupervised. The variation in matters includes freehold, leasehold, new builds, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and rectifying titles etc.

You will benefit from access to secretarial support. It is a busy department with the potential to take over a share of the current caseloads of two partners.

Person specification

Applications are sought from experienced Conveyancers, either those formally qualified or those highly experienced and not formally qualified, with the following skills and experience:

• Ability to run your own caseload of matters from day one, including new builds, corporate mortgages etc
• A strong desire to offer outstanding service
• Ability to work as part of a team to contribute to the friendly working atmosphere
