We are working with an established materials handling, packing and palletising automation systems company based in Midlands.

They are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region £45.000 - £55.000 along with excellent employment benefits and Bonus based on Company performance and your involvement.

Small but rapidly growing UK arm of global business requires an experienced Engineer who is highly competent with all aspects of the specification, design, programming and commissioning of Siemens TIAS7-1500 for a range of automation projects with experience of conveyors and/or warehouse automation highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Siemens TIAS7-1500 Safety PLC & HMI/ SCADA- design from scratch
• Automated warehousing and conveyor systems project experience
• Site commissioning & fault-finding -HW & SW
• Component specification/ selection
• Electrical design/ EPlan/ AutoCAD
• Functional safety/ Sistema experience a bonus.
• High level interfacing/ WCS
• Can manage/ interface with Subcontractors/ other engineers
• Problem solving/ tenacity

Majority of current projects are based around the Midlands & North London areas.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday- 9:00 - 17:00

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business as they grow their Controls presence in the UK market. Known for providing excellent levels of bespoke software and factory automation for a range of blue-chip clients.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a like for like role, be open and honest and be a great representative when on Client’s sites.
