Our client provide CCTV monitoring services for several public sector partners.

The facility also provides community alarm monitoring services and out of hours services to other departments, as well as being a point of reference for residents where there is an urgent situation and supporting the response in the event of an emergency within the borough.

Skills required

  • Strong understanding of legislation relating to public space CCTV
  • Experience of working with CCTV, either technical solutions and/or CCTV control room management
  • Managing maintenance contractors
  • Experience of working in partnership with Police, Police and Crime Commissioner, local authorities, commercial entities (e.g. utilities), in the delivery of CCTV and wider community safety services
  • Ability to appropriately represent the service
  • Able to facilitate and manage requests from partner entities, requests for CCTV good and services, working with maintenance contractor as technical advisor
  • Experience of change management and the review of operational services to identify new opportunities and solutions to resource deployment and service delivery
  • Experience of operational service management, including management of staff, health and safety requirements, writing, implementation and review of operational policies, procedures and plans
  • Create strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of budget monitoring and management in relation to operational services
