Contracts Manager

Our client, an interiors fit out and refurbishment specialist, based in Gloucester, are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Project Manager due to continued growth. The successful individual will have experience working on fit out projects ideally in the retail, hospitality and commercial sector.

Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary: £50k - £60k
• Car Allowance
• Pension
• 28 days annual leave with 7 days to be taken as company days at Christmas

Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Overview

• Responsible for taking the lead on pre-commencement and procurement activities across a range of exciting contracting works and working alongside the commercial team.
• You will be working closely with the Site Managers to drive forward advance planning, programming and management of projects through to completion.
• You must be able to work independently and under the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Obtaining best value sub-contract and supplier prices
• Procurement of sub-contract works in conjunction with the delivery team
• Will be attending a variety of meetings
• Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues
• Preparing accurate construction phased programmes

Contracts Manager / Project Manager Position Requirements

• Full Driving License
• 5 years' experience within the industry in a project / contract management position
• An effective communicator and can lead teams.
• A team player as you'll be working closely with clients and colleagues.
• Experienced working within the Shop-fitting industry.
• Knowledgeable of Building Legislation.
• Excellent in planning and programming.
• Prepared to work over a large geographical area.
• Financial and commercial aware.
