Contracts Manager

Warrington

Salary Negotiable (Depending on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity in a progressive contracts manager role based in Warrington to showcase your ideas, skills and experience within an innovative, future thinking, global engineering consultancy / contractor. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key role within a successful ground engineering team with multiple offices across the UK.

What we are looking for:

  • Detailed understanding of contaminated land, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports, inclusive of risk-based approach to the assessment of contaminated land.
  • Experienced in managing contracts and reviewing reports.
  • Fully versed with the CDM Regulations.
  • Experience of working with clients.
  • Competent with contaminated land data handling, including experience in the use of GIS/QGIS
  • Relevant technical degree Geology or similar
  • Desirable - Master's degree (Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering)

Typical duties will include:

  • Leadership of contaminated land and ground investigation.
  • Managing contracts and reviewing permits.
  • Writing reports and delivering remediation options appraisals
  • Ensuring all deliverables are to the highest quality environmental standards, including health and safety and risk assessments.
  • Geo-environmental ground investigation design, works specification, bill of quantities and Health and safety requirements.
