Title: Contracts Manager - Passive Fire

Location: Eastbourne.

Salary: Up to £60K depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Organising, supervising, managing & overseeing install operatives, in conjunction with site-based management team (where applicable).

Undertaking quality control checks of installed works, signing-off as correct & compliant. Producing & agreeing with our clients, a sequenced programme of works.

Regularly reviewing progress there against, providing updates to our clients & the companies Construction Director. Dealing with technical queries from clients, designers & site management teams.

Ordering materials, access equipment & plant via the companies Buyer. Specifying compliant Passive Firestopping solutions, for ultimate sign-off by the Project Design Team. Carry accreditation under BM Trada’s Q-Mark scheme, or be willing to enrol thereon.

Oversee the full, accurate & compliant use of the companies’ data recording software, OneTrace. Attend & orchestrate successful BM Trada audits. Be capable of assisting the companies Estimator with the pricing of Tenders.

Be capable of assisting the companies project Quantity Surveyor with the invoicing of works complete.

Assist with the checking of labour invoices, these being on either a Pricework or Daywork basis. Assist with seeking out new contracts & business development opportunities. Assist with obtaining competitive suppliers material prices.

Liasing with clients, forming positive working relationships.

Attending regular site-based meetings of a various nature.

Terms (subject to negotiation):

Full Time - Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00. Based at our Eastbourne offices, however, the role will be predominantly mobile, regularly visiting all live contracts & attending meetings.

Occasional working from home will be considered, subject to authorisation from a Director.

Salary ranging from £40k to £60k per annum, dependant on experience and capability.

Statutory holiday and bank holidays entitlement. Company vehicle - subject to negotiation of overall package.
