The role of the Contracts Manager - Commercial Flooring will involve:

• Contracts Manager position overseeing various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
• Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
• Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
• Ensure projects are running smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
• Liaising with clients and providing project reports
• Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
• Reporting project status to the Managing Director
• Managing projects ranging in value from £500 to £250k

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Commercial Flooring with:

• Must have Contract Management within the commercial flooring or related market sector Ideally will have sound technical knowledge of the flooring market sector vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
• Must hold CSCS Gold or Black card & SSSTS
• Full UK driving license
• Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
• Professional and highly organised
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
