Contracts Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE)– Remote Working

Position: Contracts Lawyer

Organisation: London based Local Authority

Duration: 3 month ongoing 

Working Pattern: Full time

Working Arrangement: Remote Working

Hourly Rate:  Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE)

Venn Group’s legal team are working with an innovative London basedLocal Authority to recruit a Contracts Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis.

The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx with 2-5 years PQE, who demonstrates experience of handling a varied caseload of contract matters, as well as advising on the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

 Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.

Duties shall include:

1-       Handling and advising on a wide range of Contracts and Procurement work

2-       Drafting necessary contracts and other legal documents, to provide clear and concise written and oral legal advice

3-       Advising on PCR 2015

4-       To work effectively with other colleagues and team members
