Job Description
As a Contract Stress Engineer with Landing Gear experience, your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting stress analysis and simulations on landing gear components to ensure
compliance with regulatory standards and design specifications.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers,
to optimize landing gear structures for performance and weight efficiency.
* Utilizing finite element analysis (FEA) tools and other engineering software to assess the
structural integrity of landing gear components under various loading conditions.
* Providing technical expertise and guidance on stress-related issues throughout the product
development lifecycle.
* Reviewing and validating stress reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related
field.
* Proven experience as a Stress Engineer with a focus on landing gear systems in the
aerospace industry.
* Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software and other relevant engineering tools.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to landing
gear design and stress analysis.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Position Details:
Contract position with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Rate - £49.50 per hour Umbrella.
Duration - 12 Month rolling contract
Working Conditions - 2 Days in the Office / 3 Days WFH
