Contract Content Specialist

I am on the lookout for a Content Creator to join my client's team (Finance sector) on a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be instrumental in crafting compelling content across a variety of digital platforms, contributing significantly to the brand’s visibility and audience engagement.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Develop and produce original content that aligns with our brand, including website articles, blog posts, social media updates, videos, email campaigns, podcasts, and more.

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and other internal teams to strategize and co-create content that resonates with our target audience and maintains our brand voice.

• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and reflects our brand identity consistently across all platforms.

• Perform keyword research and implement SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and search engine ranking.

• Actively promote content on social networks, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our digital properties.

• Conduct interviews with industry professionals to incorporate expert insights into our content.

• Monitor web traffic and other relevant metrics to assess content performance and make data-driven decisions.

• Update and maintain website content as necessary to keep information current and relevant.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work.

• Proficiency with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to research, fact-check, and verify information thoroughly.

• Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• A solid understanding of SEO and content optimisation techniques.
