MSI Recruitment are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry with Section 12 approval to join the team. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and develop mental health services within the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to adult patients with complex psychiatric needs

Roles/ Responsibilities of Psychiatrist -

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, overseeing the assessment, treatment, and management of adult patients with a range of mental health conditions
  • Lead on the development and implementation of care pathways and treatment plans, collaborating closely with colleagues, service users, and carers to promote recovery-oriented practices and person-centered
  • Offer expert psychiatric consultation and guidance to colleagues within the team, providing supervision and support to junior medical staff, trainees, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements for Psychiatrist role-

  • GMC Registration
  • Must have Section 12 approval and AC Status
