Consultant Dermatologist Needed

Location: Westminster

Time: 0900 - 1300 & 1400-1800 (Flexible)

Days: Ad-hoc to suit availability

Rate: £2000 per day

About Us: We are collaborating with an award-winning Community Dermatology services provider. This forward-thinking NHS provider is expanding its services and is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview: As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for delivering consultations, reviews, education, and audits. You will consult patients presenting with various Dermatology issues, with the majority referred by their own GP or a specialist Dermatology GPwSi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations and reviews for patients with Dermatology issues.
  • Access patient history and notes via a linked system.
  • Provide face-to-face consultations, reviews, or phone consultations as needed.
  • Undertake reviews of GPwSi work.
  • Deliver education seminars to Dermatology staff.
  • Complete audits and reviews in your own time at home.

Working Arrangements:

  • 3-4 shifts available per month, booked around your availability.
  • A laptop will be provided.
  • Base attendance required for clinics; flexibility for reviews and audits at home.

Requirements:

  • GMC registered Consultant Dermatologist.
  • Experience in Dermatology consultations, reviews, and education.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
