Job Opportunity: Construction Groundworks Lecturer

Location: East Budleigh

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Salary: £30,307.20 (Full-Time Equivalent)

Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of groundworks professionals? We are seeking an experienced Construction Groundworks Lecturer to inspire and guide our apprentices in their journey toward excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Apprentice CITB Level 2 in Groundworks program.
  • Utilize your industry experience to provide practical insights and real-world context.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages skill development and safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Prepare engaging lessons, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Groundworks (industry experience will be considered more important).
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring apprentices.
  • Willingness to obtain a teacher training qualification if not already held.
