We are actively searching for passionate computer science educators in Blackpool to instruct students in KS3 and KS4. Daily compensation for this role falls within the range of £155 to £230, contingent upon your experience, qualifications, and teaching proficiency.

As a Computer Science Teacher, your primary responsibility is to deliver top-notch instruction in computer science principles and abilities to secondary school students. You'll design and present captivating lessons, evaluate student advancement, and cultivate an encouraging learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and ingenuity.

  • Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
  • Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Respond to questioning

Personal attributes:

    • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
    • Experience up to key stage 3/4
    • QTS/PGCE equivalent
    • Be flexible and committed
