Computer Science Teacher - Middlewich - Temp

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field (a teaching qualification is advantageous).
  • Demonstrated expertise in computer science concepts, programming languages, and software development.
  • Previous teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Knowledge of the UK education system and curriculum is a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to inspire and educate our students in the field of computer science. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of computer science concepts and programming languages, as well as a passion for teaching. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the next generation of technology leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective computer science lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels.
  • Create a positive learning environment for KS3 and KS4 students to flourish in.
  • Stay plugged into the latest in digital developments to ensure your curriculum is fresher than a brand-new GPU.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the computer science curriculum.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and events related to computer science education.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
