The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Preston who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Component Test Engineer to carry out a range of vibration and functional durability tests for a range of sectors.

My client boasts state of the art testing facilities and you will carry out a range of components tests where you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on a variety of tests. My client will provide both on and off the job training and line management support.

The day to duties include:

  • Coordinate, supervise and conducts tests and lab activities working with both engineers and technicians
  • Develop risk assessments for tests
  • Programming of test equipment such as PLC's and Chambers
  • Rig design and preparation using CAD packages

What we are looking for:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • The ability to carry out basic workshop fitting skills
  • Hands on experience in a lab/workshop environment
  • The ability to find creative solutions to problem

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team where you will have the opportunity to carry out a range of component tests for a range of sectors.

This is a day shift position paying up to £41,000.00 per annum with a comprehensive benefits package.
