Do you have 3-5 years' experience component sales experience within the aviation industry? Are you a sales guru who feels confident speaking with customers about aviation products?

I am recruiting for an experienced Component Sales Executive for a repeat client close to Heathrow. My client is a leading specialist of commercial aircraft parts and the successful candidate will be selling and advising on a multi-million-dollar inventory of aircraft spare parts. This is a Monday-Friday position, working from 8:30am-5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Main duties: 

  • Managing customer accounts and building/maintaining good relationships
  • Responding to and quoting on pre-vetted leads/enquiries with a fast turnaround 
  • Checking and updating customers on stock availability 
  • Proactively following up with customers post-quote and answering any queries/enquiries 
  • Occasional travel for client visits or company events such as exhibition shows 
  • Using MS Excel and Quantum systems on a daily basis 
  • Understanding different component parts as well as required industry certification/regulations 
  • Understanding of trade inventory, loans, sales, exchanges, etc
  • Further sales administration durries 

Key requirements: 

  • 3-5 years' aviation component sales experience (essential)
  • Experience using Quantum and MS Excel (essential)
  • Bi-lingual (desired but not essential)
  • Ability to source parts for non-stocked items 
  • Flexible, can-do attitude 
  • Team player
