Compliance Manager Insurer, Belgium

Eames is working exclusively with a global insurance carrier on a Compliance Manager appointment for their newly established Belgium office.

The individual will lead our client's Belgian Compliance function, providing oversight of regulatory risk and establishing fit for purpose procedures and guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with Belgian regulators
• Report on regulatory changes, including identifying potential impact to the business and providing recommendations to ensure the business remains compliant
• Establish internal processes and controls, identifying areas for improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Internal Audit to ensure effective risk management is maintained.

It's essential you have previous experience working in a compliance/legal role within financial services, with a thorough understanding of the Belgian compliance landscape and experience liaising with regulators. Due to the nature of the role, you will also be fluent in Dutch and / or French.
