Compliance Manager

Our client is a family owned manufacturer that operates across a wide range of market sectors with manufacturing plants both in the UK and across the world.

They are currently looking to recruit a Compliance Manager for their Upholstery manufacturing site in Essex with a salary starting from £38,000 upwards.

Reporting to the Group Compliance Manager your main tasks will be to implement and maintain the company’s management systems and be the resource lead for certification and regulatory body approval. You will also be responsible for leading audits, inspections and will report the performance to the group.

On a day to day basis you will:

• Identify escalate down applicable compliance requirements to the business,
• Provide assurance of functional audit compliance to business management systems,
• Produce business management system performance metrics output reports by function,
• Identify functional corrective actions, implement and manage closure,
• Generate management system audits and findings,
• Documented, issue and maintain management systems and processes,

Suitable candidates for this Compliance Managers position in Essex must have:

• A proven previous experience within an Aviation Manufacturing operation,
• Worked within a Compliance (or similar role) focused on Design Assurance or Health, Safety and Environment,
• You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to create a positive working culture within your team,
