My client is seeking an individual to support its members and other internal staff from a taxation and trust perspective, relevant to the areas of advice undertaken by UK financial advisers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone and email assistance that allows individual member queries to be answered promptly, accurately and in a professional understandable manner.
  • Record all communication with member firms.
  • Research and investigate individual member firm queries to provide robust, prompt and complete answers.
  • In depth knowledge of the workings and application of investment products, for example, life assurance investment bonds, collective investments, business relief schemes, protection products, including employee benefits, long-term care and pensions.

Job Requirements

  • Level 4 qualified
  • G60/AF3 – Pensions (desirable)
  • G10/AF1 - Tax & Trusts (essential)
  • Good understanding of the UK financial services industry including directly authorised and authorised firms
  • Good working knowledge of financial products
  • Excellent customer support skills, combining customer service with technical support

If you have previous experience of telephone/email helpdesk, file checking and good working knowledge of HMRC’s Registered Pensions Scheme Manual (RPSM), we encourage you to apply for this role. The role will be 100% remote with a very occasional need to visit the office as and when required.
