Compliance Associate
Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Compliance Associate position for a well-established Reinsurance business in the City of London.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Compliance with the development and implementation of an annual Compliance Plan. Tracking activities of the compliance resources against deliverables.
- Manage Compliance Projects - preparing deliverables and reporting on progress.
- Prepare all relevant managing information to the Head of Compliance, on all compliance matters.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to find solutions that meet regulatory requirements in line with business objectives.
- Provide regulatory support to divisional directors.
- Work with Central Compliance team on completing the annual fitness and propriety assessments for the SMCR population in scope.
- Be the liaison point between Operations, Finance and Compliance to compile and review quarterly returns to the FCA.
- Work with Compliance Monitoring team, to complete Monitoring / Thematic reviews.
- Work with Sanctions team to facilitate broking teams sanction screening processes, and act as escalation point.
- Respond to Compliance queries from Broking teams.
- Assist in the development of Policies and Procedures.
Experience:
- Good knowledge of FCA requirements relating to reinsurance.
- Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a second line compliance role within a non-life or reinsurance broker / insurer.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in City of London office)
Salary: £60,000 pa + bonus + benefits package.
