COMPLEX PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS HANDLER
Hybrid - just 1 office day a week (based SE or NW UK) As a result of positive business growth this expanding Insurer are looking to strengthen their claims team by recruiting a Large & Complex Loss Handlers to join the existing team of market leading specialists, handling RTA personal injury claims valued between £100k to £500k, sometimes £1million.
The company are specifically looking for recent experience with an Insurer as relationships with Reinsurers are critical so sadly candidates with purely legal/solicitor experience would not suit this position. You will have experience of fatalities, mild brain, and serious orthopaedic injury.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Large & Complex Loss Manager and be responsible for their own caseload of new and existing Fast and Multi track Third Party claims, working within set authorities, setting and maintaining accurate reserves in line with our company reserving philosophy and have a proven ability to negotiate proactive settlements in a timely manner.

Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Minimum of 7 years experience within the insurance industry (motor) in a claims handling role.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in handling personal injury claims (motor), with knowledge and experience in handling Multi Track claims.
- Substantial knowledge and experience of settling claims in excess of £100,000.
