Remedy Education are looking for an enthusiastic PMLD Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Greenwich. Although experience working with Special Needs in a school is preferred, Any professional or personal experience supporting Complex Needs is what actually matters in this role as being able to care and nurture a child with complex needs is what makes the difference in this role.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  • Have experience working with children that have SEN Needs on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Training or experience in Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECS or Makaton
  • Strong interpersonal skils
  • Take initiative
  • Committed to work 5 days a week


DETAILS

  • Location Greenwich
  • Start date ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration Ongoing
  • Hours 9am 3:30pm
  • The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate £90 - £103 per day


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY EDUCATION, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
  • Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
