Complaints Handler

Our client is a housing association based in Portsmouth with a real focus on developing good quality affordable housing and high-end customer service. Currently they are seeking a Complaints Handler for a Temporary role on a 3-month basis.

The ideal candidate will have social housing experience and may have experience within Complaints Handling. This role is offering flexible working, with one day in office and four days working remotely. Candidates will benefit from having transferable skills and quick learning skills as you will be using the in-house systems remotely.

Duties will include:

• Being the first point of contact for any complaints from residents and individuals
• Setting up review meetings with dissatisfied residents and managers
• Working with complaints procedures and protocols, following appropriate stages of elevations of complaints
• Working and liaising with external bodies such as the Housing Ombudsman to help support complaints
• Working to targets to ensure a resolution is produced to any displeased customer
• Following up on meetings and resolutions in order to maintain satisfactory changes within the company
• Providing information on how the company can establish less complaints and improve customer service and support
• Using in-house systems to ensure efficiency and clear communication all round
