Compensation Protection Associate

Your new firm

Our fantastic client is a Top 100 National Law Firm, and they are looking to recruit an Associate Lawyer to join their growing Compensation Protection Team in their Bath office.

Your new role

In this role you will be working as a part of a team to manage the compensation that clients receive as a result of litigation. This role will involve supporting the Professional Deputy in all aspects of their role, including making court applications and annual reporting. You will also get the opportunity to manage a caseload of files and take part in the business development of the team. You will support budgetary management of client matters alongside providing support to more junior colleagues in the team.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be at least an experienced Junior Associate Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer of equivalent level, with expertise in Compensation Protection. It is essential that you have prior experience working with a Protection Deputy and in making applications to the Court of Protection. You will need to be thoroughly familiar with the Court of Protection for this role. On top of this, you will have strong client management and service skills and the ability to mentor more junior colleagues. It is also highly desirable to have experience in Personal Injury trusts, or trusts in general.
