£42,000 - £45,000 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are working with one of the most influential and leading manufacturing companies in their industry.
Actively recruiting for a Compensation & Benefits Manager to join their HR Function Team on a 15 month Fixed Term Contract.
The successful applicant will be providing support and guidance on their Compensation & Benefits package processes to ensure that they remain competitive.

Day to Day Duties
As a Compensation & Benefits Manager you duties will involve:
- Lead and manage a high performing Compensation & Benefits team
- Adapt priorities and departmental plans to address resource and operational challenges
- Support the HR Director in delivering the strategy for C & B for the business
- Work with key stakeholders to understand needs and deliver a professional and commercially sound HR service
- Be the expert ‘go to' person for all strategic C & B information and work alongside the senior teams to understand their needs for today & tomorrow
- Analyse market trends to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive
- Anticipate and plan for long-term resource C & B changes, needs and trends
- Work within a matrix organisation and handle complex information from different sources
- Work with the HR team to develop and implement pay structures
Essential Skills
As a Compensation and Benefits Manager it is essential that you:
- Previous experience in a Compensation or Benefits role and experience of HR and payroll systems
- Experience in benchmarking and job evaluation, ideally using Willis Towers Watson
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal confidently and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong IT skills, including HRM systems and Microsoft Office Packages
Desirable Experience
It would be desirable as a Compensation & Benefits Manager if you have:
- Experience of operating in an international matrix organisation
- CIPD Level 5 or Equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (or similar) and working with Trade Unions would be an advantage
- Experience of managing a Compensation & Benefits strategy and being responsible for the HR elements of payroll
Training
Company Policy and Procedural training will be provided to successful candidates.
