JOB DESCRIPTION:
• You will be day to day support for the Corporate Governance, Board Management and Company Secretarial services team with their portfolio of regulated and unregulated entities including funds, feeder vehicles general partners and holding companies; and
• You will be an important support link with other officers and senior officers within the team, thus helping to increase your knowledge and to understand the quality of the work that is carried out for clients. You will see and at times help with work produced for submission to managers and senior managers; and
• Work alongside Senior Officers and help assist with internal and external projects with full support by your Manager; and
• Work in conjunction with other members of the Team in providing a comprehensive Company Secretarial Service; and
• While employed as an Officer you will have the opportunity to attend training to enhance your skills and learn new ones as well.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Interaction with clients, board members, third party intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, accountants and tax advisors both in person and via written or telephone communication; and
• Support with the preparation of paperwork for board and shareholders' meetings, including but limited to helping draft agendas, preparation of board papers, attending certain meetings with a representative of Alter Domus Guernsey in their capacity as Company Secretary to see how processes are run, help take action points from meetings and at a later stage assist with producing minutes.; and
• Assist with the maintenance of statutory records for entities and ensuring filing requirements are met; and
• Support the fund administration team in respect of investor servicing, client on-boarding, investment transactions, draw downs, distributions and other administrative activities;
• Liaise with the Financial Reporting teams for year end and interim accounts for sign off by the Boards; and
• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

• Have a passion for your role and for building successful client and Board relationships through teamwork and high standards of service;
• Look to work towards a relevant professional qualification with the support of Alter Domus;
• Effective organisation skills with the ability to learn quickly; Be ambitious, a good communicator with a high level of energy and commitment;
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines when asked.
