Full Time: Mon to Fri 09:00 - 17:00

£26.00 per hour

Are you a compassionate and skilled Community Psychiatric Nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the mental health sector? We are currently working with an NHS Trust based in Bishop's Stortford who require a Band 6 CPN to work within their Working Age Adult community Mental Health Team on an ongoing temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, interventions, and treatments to clients within the community.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring individualised and holistic care.
  • Offer support and guidance to clients and their families, promoting self-management and recovery.
  • Coordinate and liaise with various healthcare professionals, social services, and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of service delivery through participation in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Post-registration experience working within mental health settings, preferably in community psychiatric nursing.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing person-centred care and promoting recovery-oriented practices.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits.
