Community Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care (£35 - £40 P/H)

Tripod Partners are currently on the lookout for a Locum Social Care Occupational Therapist to be based in Newbury in Berkshire.

Pay Rate £35 - £40 Per Hour

Hybrid Working - Policy is 2 days based in the office, 3 days based at home.

• To use professional expertise and knowledge to identify suitable ways for people to manage those needs, e.g. through use of reablement services, equipment, adaptations, packages of care, etc.
• Occupational Therapists in Localities cover essential and complex work with vulnerable adults including:
• Moving and positioning risk assessments
• Safeguarding vulnerable adults
• Mental capacity assessments
• Deprivation of Liberty Assessments
• CHC
• Crisis intervention for carers/informal carers and service breakdown
• Occupational Therapist are a valuable support for our Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners.
• They will support staff with equipment and manual handling assessments with advice or joint assessments.

Skills Required:

• Occupational Therapy Degree
• HCPC Registration
• Right to work within the UK without the need of sponsorship
