Search Healthcare is currently Recruiting for a Community Nurse in and round the Tamworth area.

Acute Care at Home role and below are the requirements for the Complex Care role

  • Band 6 - Community Nurse
  • Working: Ad hoc Shifts
  • Hours: 08:00 - 21:00, 21:00 - 08:00
  • Experience
  • Travel to School, outings etc as required
  • Specially trained in Paediatric
  • Location: Tamworth
  • Family have dogs
  • Confident in lone working with patient
  • Start as soon as possible for 12 weeks

Additional Requirements: Trachy Care:

    • Ventilator: Astra 150 ventilator.
    • Suction: Via LSU; Trachy suction, not oral.
    • Feeding: Gastro fed with GJ tube; meds and feeds through jej ports.
    • Personal care and bathing.
    • Mobility: Mobile with wheelchair for outings.
    • Communication: Non-verbal; regular nebulizers; airogen nebulizer linked to ventilator.
    • Sensory Oriented: Responds well to sensory stimuli like noise-making toys, bubbles, and iPad interaction.
    • Support: Challenging Family involvement; AMGsometimes present through social care.
    • Unique Flutter Breathing: Nurse must be prepared to call 999 if breathing slows.
    • Gender Preference: Male or female nurse.
