Community Nurse - Leeds
Your new companyHays Healthcare are actively recruiting nurses with community experience to work in the community of Leeds. The service is a 7-day service, and you will be able to block book shifts.
Your new roleA Community Nurse (RGN) in the UK is a registered nurse who provides care to patients in their homes, care homes, clinics, and other community settings. Some of the key responsibilities and requirements of a Community Nurse (RGN) are:
- Patient Assessment: Measure and document vital statistics, carry out physical examinations, collate patient health histories and report changes to their doctor.
- Planning and Coordination of Care: Implement care plans, administer medications, provide wound care, catheter care, end of life care, diabetic care, and other services.
- Education and Promotion: Provide information and advice on healthy habits, lead health education sessions or classes in community settings and refer patients to other health or social services
What you'll need to succeed
- RGN with NMC Pin
- Driving Licence
- Access to vehicle
- Experience in the Community (desirable)
- Right to Work in UK
