Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a Security company based in Witham. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with the responsibility of overseeing the Projects team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department while ensuring exceptional standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy Projects Team including leadership of the office and field-based Engineers.
  • Managing the scheduling, installation, testing and commissioning of new security systems.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure that customer requirements are met and the installation process is managed effectively.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure end user requirements are delivered at optimum benefit for the business.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting in the event of any issues arising during the installation process.
  • Develop and nurture a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyses operational data, and make informed decisions to drive improvements.
  • Monitor and review processes for ways to make procedures more time and cost-effective.
  • Holds regular meetings with colleagues to discuss expectations and hear team concerns.
  • Plan and maintain departmental budget.
  • Ensure work environment is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel information and customer financial data by keeping sensitive documents private and secure.

Key Requirements and Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership and/or Project Manager role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for training and motivating teams
  • Problem-solving for improving processes, increasing efficiency and profits
  • Good data analysis, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety, efficiency and product quality standards
