Communications Manager
Our client now requires an experienced Communications Manager, who will have responsibility for developing and implementing both the external and internal communications strategy across their European business.
The Role:
Reporting to the VP of Communications, as the Communications Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- supporting the implementation of external and internal communications plans to increase engagement and awareness
- promoting the corporate profile through effective communication means
- supporting the overall business wide communications strategy
- monitoring communications positioning for the business both internally and externally, alongside competitors
There will be some hybrid working arrangements with this role.
The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, or higher, from within a marketing or communications based discipline, candidates for the Communications Manager role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- previous work experience within a communications based role, either from within an agency or an in house communications team
- experience of devising and implementing strong and clear communications messaging
- excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible and creative
- strong project management skills and a high proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive and professional attitude
- the ability to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, who us used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet required deadlines
European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential.
