Our Client, the Yorkshire Collaboration, is seeking a Commissioning & Contracts Manager to join their Team.

Fantastic payrate of £350 - £450 Per day.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide clear leadership, management and direction for the team to ensure all commissioned services in the directorate are compliant with procurement rules and have robust contract management in place.
  • Lead a team to monitor the compliance and performance of contracts, provide effective service reviews.
  • Deliver complex commissioning projects with an equally complex provider market and develop innovative approaches to market facilitation, shaping and development.
  • Implement robust governance arrangements for all children’s commissioning activity, guiding strategic priorities and design of services to meet the needs of all children young people and their families.
  • Provide professional advice and challenge to services and partners.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of a wide range of new initiatives and service approaches to meet changing demands, identify gaps and align to key strategies within children’s services to improve the provision of service within Doncaster.
  • Lead and develop the strategy for the co-production of services with children young people and their families, local businesses, individuals and organisations.
  • Provide expert advice on complex situations, including statutory requirements and compliance matters such as inspection and regulatory criteria of OFSTED and CQC and compliance with contract procedure rules, financial regulations and legal guidelines.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Must have a clean DBS.
