Commercial vehicle technician

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our team in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship. As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our fleet of vehicles in optimal condition to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Perform vehicle inspections and identify potential faults or hazards
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Keep accurate records of service and repairs performed on each vehicle
Collaborate with the maintenance team to meet service deadlines and targets
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or a similar role
Certification in vehicle maintenance and repair (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds)
Strong understanding of commercial vehicle systems and components
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Valid driver's license
Salary: £30,000 per annum plus £8,000 OTE
Location: Sittingbourne (ME10 2XD)
