My client are a leading developer in the Renewable Energy market, specialising in the development of commercial ad utility scale Solar PV and BESS projects. They're seeking a Senior Project Manager, with relative experience in the development/construction of commercial Solar PV.

Job Purpose: Project management of a commercial and utility scale Solar PV projects development and management of tender opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a project from inception to completion, ensuring that it is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Undertake site surveys to establish local conditions which impact design, as well as researching local supply costs for inclusion in the project budget
• Work with the design & engineering team to review all project documents and information provided by a client/developer and throughout the design process
• Work with the project director to prepare a detailed project budget, which needs to be closely monitored throughout the life of the project
• Perform risk assessments on the project and proactively solve any matters encountered on site in conjunction with the site Engineer (escalating to the project director if required)
• Report to the project director any deviations from the PoW, budget or scope
• Manage the relationship with the client, suppliers and subcontractors, as well as internal teams
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Education Requirements:

• Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
• Related experience in managing project and commissioning work of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects or other renewable energy projects.
• Strong experience supervising site activities amongst different contractors
• Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation (BS 7671, 18th edition etc)

Preferred Work Experience: Proven track record in the construction of solar parks or large commercial properties, in EPC companies.

Working Conditions: The job is mainly office based with need to travel according to business needs
