Rate: £55 umbrella per hour

Venn Group’s Local Government Legal Division have been instructed by a Local Authority based in London to assist with the recruitment of a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer.

The role of Locum Commercial Property Lawyer is offered on a 5 month basis with an option for an extension thereafter based upon business requirements. This is a great opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded team handling an exciting caseload.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Charted Legal Executive with a proven track record of successfully handling a Commercial Property caseload within Local Government. Local Government experience is desirable for this role but candidates with extensive non Local Government experience are welcome to apply for this role

About the Role:

1. Collaborate with colleagues on diverse project initiatives, including regeneration schemes, housing projects, and operational property estate restructuring
2. Support the council's mission to increase the availability of affordable housing and facilitate inclusive regeneration efforts
3. Play a key role in advancing community-level equity through regeneration projects
4. Contribute to initiatives aimed at levelling up communities through strategic project involvement
